Become a cleaner at skill staking
I always try to consecutively read (or listen) to a few books that are related or offer a different approach to a given topic.
The latest two :
- How to be better at almost everything: Pat Flynn
- Relentless: Tim S. Grover
Tim S. Grover was Michael Jordan and Kobe Brian’s coach, among others. He describes how both players (but especially Jordan) worked to reach excellence and what is the cleaner mindset
Cleaners
Cleaners exhibit an unparalleled work ethic and an insatiable appetite for achievement. Cleaners are not satisfied with being good, they want to be the best usually in one discipline and are willing to sacrifice everything and while working smart, do whatever it takes to reach excellence.
They are going the extra mile, delivering more or better quality than what is expected from them all the time, and/or learning more, optimizing their sleep more, and having more discipline than their non-cleaner peers, which gives them an edge.
